The Accounts Payable Systems Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s payment process. This primarily includes invoice routing and keying, processing payments, and maintaining relationships with vendors, banks, and internal staff.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION:

– High School Graduate (College/university is preferred)


EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

– Five years of general office experience

– Two years of AP processing experience


SKILLS:

– Dynamics 365 experience is a plus

– Strong organizational and analytics skills

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

– Data entry skills

– General math skills

– Meticulous

REQUIREMENT:

– Reliable transportation

– Valid and current auto liability insurance

– While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

– The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


JOB SPECIFIC EFFORTS REQUIRED:

– Requires the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner

– Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet goals, deadlines, and agency needs

– Ability to travel


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

– Receiving invoices from a variety of sources, routing them for approval, and keying them into the accounting system

– Processing payments via checks or electronic payments (ACH or wire)

– Understanding how to allocate invoices that apply to multiple offices and/or companies

– Reconciling invoices, as needed

– Maintaining vendor records in the accounting system, including new vendor setups

– Protecting confidential information

– Other duties, as assigned
